One does not realise what a big decision it is to move your business, family and life to a new Country. It is extremely stressful. Are we making the correct decision? Is it safe? Will our children cope? Becoming an Expat, in a foreign country can be very easy and relaxed.
While you handle your business and family, we will handle all the admin for you around your business licence and visa needs. Below is a brief description of how it works step by step.
Step 1.
The first step involves a few consultancy sessions where we will discuss with you what your needs are and how to best achieve these goals. We will discuss the most affordable and quickest solution that will be tailored for you. We will suggest the best activities to match your business and answer any questions you might have. We could meet in person or over an online video calling.
Step 2.
Once we have finalised the details on what licence you will need, activities that would best suit your needs and your visa requirements, then we will be sending you a list of requirements, in terms of documentation and information that we would require to start the process. Below is a list :
- Passport copy
- Home address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Three times possible company names
- If you already have an Emirates ID, then we require a copy of the front and back.
- If you already have a Resident Visa, then we require a copy of that.
- Proof of payment.
All of this would be sent over email so we do not require you to be in the country for the setup of the licence.
Step 3.
Once we have received the information and documentation, then we will review it to ensure it is satisfactory. Once this is confirmed then we will start the application process on your behalf. You will then receive an email directly from the authority, requesting an E-signature. You will need to review the information to ensure it is satisfactory. Once you have signed and sent back the document, then we will process it further.
Step 4.
Once the authority has received your confirmation and the proof of payment, then it generally takes around three to five working days for the licence to be processed. We will then receive all your incorporation documents. The following documents will be included, depending on which free zone or authority we decide to go with :
- Unit Lease agreement
- MOA and AOA
- Certificate of formation
- Licence Certificate
- Establishment card, ( If applied and paid for )
Once you have these documents, you may legally start operating in the UAE. The next step would be your Resident Visa application. This will be addressed in a separate section.
